Enterprise AI Pricing in 2026: Per-Seat Costs and Total Cost
Short answer
Few enterprise AI vendors publish prices. Anthropic does: Claude Team costs $25 per Standard seat a month ($20 billed annually) or $125 per Premium seat ($100 annually), and Enterprise is $20 per seat a month plus usage at API rates. GitHub no longer lists Copilot Business prices publicly.
For everything else, request a quote and compare total cost: licences, usage charges, rollout and training time.

50-seat cost model
Licence cost = seats × monthly price × 12. Total first-year cost = licences + usage charges + rollout effort + training time. Rollout and training depend on your organisation, so we give the formula rather than invented totals.
Worked example with verified Claude prices: 50 Standard seats cost $15,000 a year on monthly billing (50 × $25 × 12) or $12,000 billed annually (50 × $20 × 12). 50 Premium seats cost $60,000 a year billed annually (50 × $100 × 12). Claude Enterprise at $20 per seat is $12,000 a year in seat fees before usage at API rates.
Add usage: for usage-billed plans, estimate monthly tokens per user from a pilot, multiply by the API price (for example Sonnet 5.5 at $2 input / $10 output per million tokens) and by the number of users.

What changed in this update
- Added Claude Team and Enterprise prices from Anthropic's pricing page.
- Withdrew Microsoft 365 Copilot ($21/$30) and Salesforce ($75–$150) figures until they can be confirmed; Salesforce's AI pricing has changed since June.
- Replaced the unexplained 'TCO Year 1' totals with a cost model that states its assumptions.
