Editorial Policy
Short answer
aixjo compares AI tools using documented facts: pricing, limits, features, status and alternatives. Every claim carries an evidence label, prices come only from providers' own pages, we say 'we tested' only when we ran a test, and every correction is logged publicly. Every page names its editor; how we use AI is explained below.
What aixjo is
aixjo helps people choose AI tools. We aim to help you decide, not to promote any product.
Evidence labels used on every page
- Verified: we read it on the provider's own pricing, documentation, repository or announcement page on the date shown, or observed it ourselves.
- Reported: a third party reports it; we link the source and say it is not yet confirmed.
- Claimed by provider: the company says so and we have not confirmed it. Benchmarks are usually in this group.
- Editorial assessment: our judgement, with the reasons given.
Testing
We say 'we tested' only when we ran a test, and then publish the prompts or steps, the date, the plan and the version. We do not publish placeholder test tables. Tutorials are published as tutorials only when the steps were performed; otherwise they are labelled as guides.
Prices and updates
Prices and plan limits are checked against official pages on the 1st of each month, and within 48 hours of major model releases, price changes or shutdowns. If we cannot confirm a price, we write 'Pricing should be verified on the provider's current pricing page' instead of guessing. Every page shows when it was last updated; pages whose data is more than 45 days old show a 'needs re-check' notice.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to gather sources, draft first versions and format tables. An editor then checks every fact against the sources linked on the page, adds evidence labels (Verified, Reported, Claimed by provider, Editorial assessment), rewrites where needed and approves the page before it is published.
Every page names its editor, Robert Levandovsky. 'Edited by' with a review date means he has approved that version of the page. We do not publish test results, ratings or quotes that no one produced. Spotted a mistake? See Corrections.
We publish only biographical details our editors have confirmed, and no invented credentials or testimonials.
Bylines and review
'Edited by' followed by a name means that editor read the page, checked its facts against the linked sources and approved it. The byline gives the review date. 'By' followed by a name is reserved for pages the editor wrote.
Every page names its editor. 'Edited by' and a review date show once the editor has approved that version of the page. If the page changes later, the byline shows the editor's name without 'Edited by' or a review date until the editor approves the new version.
The editor is listed on the editorial team page.
Independence
Any affiliate or sponsored link will be labelled where it appears. Payment never changes rankings, ratings or evidence labels. We do not accept payment for reviews.
If a product is run by the same team as aixjo, every page that mentions it says so above the first mention, and the product is held to the same template, evidence labels and rating rules as every other tool.
Ratings and reviews
Ratings follow a published rubric and appear only when at least four of six criteria are evidenced; see how we rate AI tools. We do not publish ratings we cannot source or review counts we did not collect.
Corrections
Corrections are listed with date and change on the corrections page.
