How aixjo Verifies AI Tool Data
Short answer
We read prices and plan limits on each provider's own pricing page and record the date. Every claim carries one of four evidence labels: Verified, Reported, Claimed by provider or Editorial assessment. Unconfirmed prices are not published. A page that has not been re-checked within 45 days shows a 'needs re-check' notice until someone checks it again, and every factual correction is logged publicly with its date.

Evidence labels
Verified = read on the provider's own page on the date shown. Reported = published by a third party and linked; not yet confirmed by the provider. Claimed by provider = the vendor's own claim, not independently tested. Editorial assessment = our judgement, with reasons given.
We say 'we tested' only when we ran a test, and then publish what we did, when, and with which version.
Sources we use
Primary first: vendor pricing pages, documentation, official announcements and the vendor's own code repositories. Aggregators and competitors' blogs are treated as leads and labelled 'Reported'. Community posts can support 'users report…' statements, never facts.
Ratings and reviews
We removed star ratings and review counts that had no source. A tool gets an aixjo rating only when at least four of six rubric criteria have documented evidence; see how we rate AI tools. We do not show reader-review averages until a tool has at least ten genuine, moderated reviews.
Bylines and money
Each page names its editor, Robert Levandovsky, and gives the review date once he has approved it. Our use of AI is explained in the editorial policy. Any affiliate or sponsored link will be labelled, and payment never changes rankings, ratings or evidence labels.
Corrections
Every factual correction is listed with its date on the corrections page; monthly changes are summarised on what changed.
What changed in this update
- Our June policy promised monthly checks, but the site went four months without them. The October 2026 refresh re-checked what could be confirmed, withdrew what could not, and added automatic 'needs re-check' notices so lapses are visible.
- Added evidence labels, the rating rubric, AI-assistance disclosure and the corrections log.
- Stopped publishing placeholder test tables: we now show results only after a test is run.
Common questions
How often does aixjo check prices?
On the first of each month and within 48 hours of a published price change. Pages whose data is older than 45 days show a 'needs re-check' notice.
Why do some pages say 'Check provider'?
We could not confirm that price on the provider's own page. We would rather show no number than a wrong one.
Does aixjo use AI to write pages?
